Iced Tea - One Of The Most Venerable Of Refreshments

From all walks of life iced tea is a cool refreshing drink that has a long history of being enjoyed. However, first some clarification is in order; that it is not ice tea it is iced tea. What that means is that is not made from ice, but instead it is “iced” or made cold.
Served around the world, iced tea has a history that goes all the way back to the nineteenth century. We will discuss the story of tea and it’s omnipresent proliferation in the world today.
Making Iced Tea
In nearly every grocery store in the United States you will find regular teas and tea-type leaves used to make up iced tea. In general, tea is initially brewed hot and after made cold. Various methods of making the tea cold are to have it stored in a refrigerated area and being iced down with a collection of ice cubes, or possibly a combination of the two.
